NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has extended the last date to fill out the application form for the post of assistant teacher in lower primary schools. Candidates can now apply for DEE Assam teacher recruitment 2023 by February 13 through the official website, dee.assam.gov.in.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 5,500 teaching positions in the department. Of these, 1,750 openings for assistant teachers in upper primary schools, and 3,800 openings for assistant teachers in lower primary schools.
According to the official notification, the application form deadline has been extended for assistant teachers in lower primary schools only. Teachers who are currently employed in lower primary schools run by the DEE in Assam are not eligible to apply for any lower primary school positions.
As per the age limit, a candidate should be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old for the unreserved (UR) category, while the maximum age limit is 43 years for Other Backward Class (OBC), 45 years for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 50 years for Person with Disability (PwD) candidates.

Click the link that reads “Apply for the post of Regular Teachers of LP and UP Schools (Advertisements dated 26/12/2023).”

Fill out the registration form by entering basic details.

Log in by entering the credentials generated during registration and fill the application form

Submit the required documents and pay the application fee.

Submit the registration form and take a printout for future reference.
