NEW DELHI: Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has announced reduction in All India Quota (AIQ) postgraduate Unani seats. The last date to fill choices for round 2 AYUSH NEET PG counselling 2023 is October 24.

The ministry of AYUSH “could not include the PG seats (09 in Moalajat and 09 in Ilmul Advia vide notice dated 18.10.2023 uploaded at AACCC-PG portal) of this College in Round-2,” it said.
“The seats under the program Moalajat and Ilmul Advia may be included in subsequent rounds, based on revised permission letter issued to this college by NCISM,” it added.
Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar, in a letter dated October 19, stated that “NCISM has granted conditional permission with 18 seats in two PG Courses in the subjects of Moalajat (09 seats) and Ilmul Advia (09 seats) for the academic session 2023-24”.

The number of seats has been reduced to six and nine in the academic year 2022-23 due to shortage of faculty members in the department of Ilmul Advia.

Further, the institute said that currently there is only one professor and 1 reader and one lecturer available for Ilmul Advia.
