BET, GAT-B results 2026 declared at exams.nta.nic.in; attendance statistics

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) and Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2026 result on the official website of NTA at exams.nta.nic.in. To access the BET and GAT-B scores, aspirants need to enter the details, including application number, password and security code.

The BET and GAT-B exam was conducted on May 17, 2026 across 54 cities at 79 centres across India for admission to the department of biotechnology supported post graduate programme in biotechnology and allied areas in participating institutions (GAT-B) and for award of DBT-junior research fellowship (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of biotechnology (BET).

The BET and GAT-B 2026 scorecard includes important details including, candidate’s name, application number, roll number, category, total score obtained in the examination, percentage of marks secured, and the rank achieved.

BET And GAT-B Result 2026: Steps to download

To check the BET and GAT-B result 2026 follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of NTA BET and GAT-B at exams.nta.nic.in/gat-bet
• On the homepage, click on the “scorecard for GAT B-2026 examination” or “scorecard for BET-2026 examination” link
• Enter the login credentials, including application number, password and security code
• The BET and GAT B 2026 result will appear on the screen
• Download the result and take a printout for further reference

As per the official notice, following the examination, the question papers, provisional answer keys , and recorded responses of candidates were made available on the NTA website from May 23 to 24, 2026. Candidates were given an opportunity to raise objections or submit challenges regarding the provisional answer keys. All representations received were reviewed by subject experts, and the final results were prepared based on the answer keys validated through this verification process.

BET And GAT-B Result 2026: Statistics

This year, a total of 11,335 candidates registered for the GAT-B 2026, out of which 9,538 candidates appeared for the examination. For the BET 2026, 15,327 candidates registered, while 12,700 candidates appeared for the test. Female candidates constituted the majority of registrations and attendance in both examinations.
