BHU UG Counselling 2024: Spot round registration beings on bhu.ac.in; seat matrix

BHU UG Admission 2024: The institute will announce the seat allotment results for the final spot round on September 12.
NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has begun the registration process for the BHU spot round counselling 2024 for undergraduate (UG) admissions 2024 today, September 9. Eligible candidates who did not get any seat in the previous rounds of counselling can register for the spot round of counselling through the official website, bhu.ac.in.
As per the schedule, the deadline to submit their applications for spot admission is September 11. The institute will announce the seat allotment results for the final spot round on September 12. Candidates who wish to participate in the BHU UG 2024 spot round counselling will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500.
BHU informed that it offers a four-year undergraduate programme in both honours and research, specifically UG honours and UG honours with research. “Only 10% of students with a CGPA of 7.5 and above will be permitted to select UG Honors with Research based on merit,” it said.
Candidates are required to upload all necessary documents, including Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, caste certificates, photographs, and scanned signatures, as part of the BHU spot counselling round.
The institute also informed that newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2024-25 academic session will have to report to their respective faculties for physical reporting and document verification on September 13-14. Classes for the first semester will commence on September 17, 2024, following the holidays on September 15 and 16, 2024.
