BHU UG counselling 2025 registration begins; apply by July 31 at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has begun the registration process for the undergraduate (UG) programmes admission 2025. Eligible candidates can register online at bhu.ac.in or bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. The registration window will remain open till July 31, 2025.

BHU is admitting students to all UG programmes based solely on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 scores. The university has implemented the Combined Allotment Programme for Undergraduate Courses [CAP (UG) 2025] to streamline the admission process.

According to the institute, candidates must ensure that the details entered during registration—such as name, date of birth, gender, category, and selected programme—exactly match those provided in the CUET UG 2025 application. Any discrepancy between the two may result in the cancellation of their candidature.

Candidates are required to register using their National Testing Agency (NTA) application number. Candidates should also keep scanned copies of their Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, birth certificate, and other relevant documents ready in advance.

The registration fee is Rs 500 for candidates belonging to the unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories, while it is Rs 250 for those from the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories.

BHU UG admission open for 2025-26 academic year

The university is offering admission to over 142 UG programmes for the academic year 2025-2. The courses span across multiple faculties, including arts, commerce, science, agriculture, law, performing arts, visual arts, Sanskrit Vidya Dharma Vijnana, and vocational studies.

Popular programmes include Bachelor of Arts (Honours) – BA (Hons), Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) – BCom (Hons), Bachelor of Science (Honours) – BSc (Hons), Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) – BA LLB (Hons), Bachelor of Fine Arts – BFA, Bachelor of Performing Arts – BPA, Bachelor of Technology in Food and Dairy Technology – BTech (Food & Dairy Technology), Bachelor of Vocation – BVoc, and Shastri (Honours) in traditional disciplines.
