Notably, 13 students have achieved spots among the top five rankers.

This year, a total of 12,35,743 students have qualified for the BSEB matric exam 2026. More than 15 lakh students appeared for the exam, of whom 7,85,726 were girls, and 7,26,961 were boys.

The overall performance of Class 10 students has slightly declined compared to the previous session. Last year, the pass percentage stood at 82.11%.

The Bihar board conducted the matric exam 2026 from February 17 to 25 across the state for more than 15 lakh students.

Furthermore, students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for the Bihar board 10th result 2026 scrutiny of answer sheets, compartment, and special exams from April 1 to 7. BSEB has set up a committee for the 10th answer sheet scrutiny.

The committee has set a target to announce the BSEB 10th compartment and special exam results by May 31, so that students appearing for such exams do not waste a year and can take admission in educational institutions for higher education in the same session.
