BSEB announces Bihar board 10th 2026 result scrutiny, special, compartment exam application dates

Download EBookThe Bihar School Examination Board(BSEB) has opened the window for scrutiny of answer sheets for the matric annual examination 2026, the results of which were declared today, March 29.
In an official announcement, BSEB said students dissatisfied with their marks in one or more subjects will be allowed to apply for scrutiny of their answer sheets. The application process will be conducted online from April 1 to April 7. Detailed guidelines regarding the scrutiny process are expected to be issued separately.
Alongside, the board has also announced that online application forms for the matric special examination 2026 and matric compartmental examination 2026 will be available during the same period, from April 1 to April 7.

The board has set a timeline to declare the results of the special and compartment examinations by May 31, 2026. This, the board said, is intended to ensure that students can secure admission to higher classes in the same academic session without delay.
Further details regarding application procedures, fees, and examination schedules are expected to be released by the board in the coming days.
BSEB Class 10 Results: 81.79% pass exam
This year a total of 15,12,687 students enrolled for the Bihar matriculation exam, comprising 7,85,726 girls and 7,26,961 boys. Out of which 12,35,743 passed the exam making the pass percentage as 81.79%.
BSEB also released the district wise toppers list as well. Ansh Raj topped Purnea with 97.4% while as Pushpanjali Kumari and Sabreen Praween topped Jamui and Vaishali districts respectively as well as the state.
The BSEB will reward students who secure positions in the top 10 ranks of the Bihar Board Class 10 exams 2026 , with the prize money increased to double the amount offered last year.
