BSEB DElEd Result 2026: Over 1.65 lakh candidates clear the entrance exam; admissions to 30,750 DElEd seats to be held through online CAF.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) joint entrance examination 2026 results and Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) results for the first-year (2025-27) and second-year (2024-26) training sessions. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can download their scorecards by logging in with their application ID and date of birth on the official website, bsebdeled.com.
According to the board, 2,23,835 candidates appeared for the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2026, of whom 1,65,609 qualified, taking the overall pass percentage to 73.99%.

The DElEd entrance examination was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode from June 8 to 22, 2026. Candidates from the unreserved category were required to secure at least 35% marks to qualify, while the minimum qualifying mark for reserved category candidates was 30%. The examination comprised 120 multiple-choice questions and was held for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Admissions for the 2026-28 academic session will be conducted based on the merit list prepared from the entrance examination scores. Eligible candidates will be allotted seats in 60 government teacher education institutes with 9,100 seats and 246 private affiliated teacher education institutes with 21,650 seats across Bihar.
Bihar DElEd seat allotment will be carried out according to the state's reservation policy, seats earmarked for Urdu and arts, commerce, and science streams, and candidates' college preferences.
The board said eligible candidates will have to fill the Common Application Form (CAF) online for admission. The detailed schedule for the CAF process will be announced separately.

The board also declared the DPEd results for the first-year (2025-27) and second-year (2024-26) training sessions on the official website dped.biharboardonline.org. A total of 149 candidates appeared in the two examinations, of whom 132 qualified, recording an overall pass percentage of 88.59%.
The board said candidates who are not satisfied with their DPEd marks can apply for scrutiny from August 10 to August 13, 2026, by paying a fee of Rs 200 per subject through the designated scrutiny portal.
