Bihar DElEd 2025: BSEB prepares second list, warns private colleges against charging excess fees

Candidates who qualified in the DElEd Joint Entrance Exam 2025 and had applied for admission in private training institutions can check their allotment status on bsebdeled.com.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has prepared the second selection list for admission to the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) course for the academic session 2025-27 in non-government institutions recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated to the board.
Candidates who qualified in the DElEd Joint Entrance Exam 2025 and had applied for admission in private training institutions can check their allotment status on the official portal, bsebdeled.com. The second list has been prepared to fill vacant seats based on the institutional preferences submitted by candidates.
Taking note of complaints alleging that certain institutions demanded fees higher than the prescribed amount during the first phase of admissions.

The board has warned of strict action against violators and reiterated that the annual tuition fee for the first year of the two-year DElEd course is fixed at Rs 60,000. Selected candidates are required to deposit Rs 3,000 at the time of admission and may opt for the upgradation in the subsequent rounds.
Candidates who were admitted through the first selection list in non-government institutions after paying Rs 3,000 and opted for upgradation, but whose allotted institutions remain unchanged in the second list, will have to deposit the remaining first-year fee at their respective institutions.
