Bihar DElEd entrance exam 2025 on February 27; registration starts tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board will commence the registration for Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) entrance exam 2025 from January 11, 2025. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for Bihar DElEd 2025 on the official website, deledbihar.com. The last date to apply for the exam is January 22, 2025.

Bihar DElEd exam 2025 will be conducted on February 27, 2025 for the appointment of teachers for Classes 1 to 8. The test will be conducted in more than 338 examination cities across India. The Bihar DElEd admit card 2025 will be issued on February 17, 2025.

As per the eligibility criteria for Bihar DElEd 2025 exam, candidates should be 17-year-old in age. Those who have passed Class 12 examination with 50 per cent marks from a recognised board are eligible to apply. Aspirants belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories will get 5% relaxation in the required minimum marks.

In order to complete the registration process for the Bihar teacher recruitment, applicants belonging to the general, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Backward Classes (BC), and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 960. The amount is Rs 760 for SC, ST, and disabled candidates.

The minimum passing marks required to qualify the DElEd entrance exam is 35% for unreserved category candidates and 30% for the reserved ones.
