NEW DELHI: Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has issued the notification for recruitment of various Police Sub-Inspector posts. As per the notification, a total of 1,275 SI posts will be filled up in the Home (Police) Department of Bihar Government.
The Bihar Police application process will commence from October 5, onwards. Candidates can fill the Bihar SI application form through the official website, bpssc.bih.nic.in.

Unreserved (UR) - 441 posts
Scheduled Caste (SC) - 275 posts
Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 16 posts
Extremely Backward Class (EBC) - 238 posts
Backward Class (BC) - 107 posts
Backward Class (Female) - 82 posts
Economic Weaker Section (EWS) - 111 posts
Transgender - 5 posts
Candidates should note that the application window will remain open till November 5, 2023. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the preliminary exam, main written exam and physical test.
Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023: How to apply
Candidates can follow the easy steps given below to apply for Bihar SI recruitment 2023.
- Visit the official website, bpssc.bih.nic.in
- Now Click on New Registration button and get registered with correct details
- After registered you will get registration ID and Pass on registered Mobile no. and Email ID
- Now login with User ID and Password and fill application form.
- Then upload the required Important documents.
- Pay Application fee and click on submit
- Download and take a printout of the same for further references.
Interested candidates must have graduation degree in any subject from a recognised university or institute. The age limit of candidates should be between 18 years to 37 years as of August 1, 2023.
