NEW DELHI: The Bihar STET results 2019 was declared today by Cabinet Minister of Bihar, Vijay Kumar Choudhary. The long-awaited STET 2019 results were declared at 4 PM on the official website of BSEB - bsebstet2019.in . To check the results of Bihar STET 2019, candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and date of birth as password.
A total of 24,599 candidates qualified in the Bihar STET 2019 exam, out of which 16,068 qualified in paper 1, while 8,531 qualified in paper 2. The Bihar STET 2019 exam had two papers and was conducted for 15 subjects from September 9 to 21, 2020.
According to a tweet shared by Sanjay Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Bihar, a total of 1,78,516 candidates appeared in both the papers.

Out of the 15 subjects of the Bihar STET exam, the Bihar STET result of 12 subjects has been declared today, but the result of three subjects - Urdu, Sanskrit and Science for 106 candidates will be released later, according to the press release.
The press release shared by Sanjay Kumar through his Twitter handle also mentioned that in Bihar STET 2019 Social Science Paper 1, candidates had to pick any two subjects like History, Geography, Economics and Political Science. Out of the two subjects, it was mandatory that one subject had to be either History or Geography. A total of 587 candidates’ results, who didn't follow these norms, were stated invalid by the board.
During the result declaration of Bihar STET, Vijay Kumar Choudhary was accompanied by Sanjay Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Bihar and Anand Kishore, President, BSEB.
