BIMTECH invites applications for PhD equivalent fellow management programmes; scholarships up to Rs 60,000
The FPM programme will support the participants with a one-time research grant of up to Rs 1,80,000 for attending the doctoral consortium and conference. Apply by February 23.

NEW DELHI: The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) is inviting applications for its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Equivalent Fellow Programmes in Management (FPM/EFPM) for the session 2025. The deadline to apply for the management programme is February 23, 2025.
As per the institute, this All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) approved programme aims to support the development of research-oriented scholars in fields such as academia, industry, and consultancy.
The duration of this management programme is four years and includes subjects such as finance, insurance and risk management, operations and decision sciences, strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainability and CSR, business communication, economics, marketing, and organisational behaviour and human resources.
Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for the BIMTECH fellow management programmes is given below.
- Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering and technology, management, economics, social science, commerce, or humanities, with at least 60% marks or an equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA), recognised by the AICTE or AIU, after completing higher secondary schooling.
- Candidates holding Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretary (CS), or Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA) qualifications must have a minimum of 50% marks along with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree.
- Candidates with a five-year integrated master’s degree in engineering and technology, management, economics, social science, commerce, or humanities must have secured at least 60% marks.
- Candidates for the EFPM must have a minimum of five years of managerial, executive, or teaching experience, with a maximum age limit of 50 years as of March 31, 2025.
- The maximum age limit for FPM candidates is 45 years as of March 31, 2025.

BIMTECH Fellow Management Programmes 2025: Scholarships
As per the official press release, the FPM programme will offer a one-time research grant of up to Rs 1,80,000 for the doctoral consortium and conference. The 1st and 2nd-year FPM students will be offered a scholarship of Rs 45, 000, and Rs 50, 000, while the 3rd and 4th-year FPM candidates will be given Rs 55, 000 scholarships each.
Students enrolled in the FPM with a valid University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test Junior Research Fellowship (UGC-NET JRF) or a Common Admission Test (CAT) score of 90 percentile and above are eligible for higher scholarships. They will receive Rs 50,000 in the first year, Rs 55,000 in the second year, and Rs 60,000 in both the third and fourth years.
