The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will open the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2026 registration window tomorrow, December 15. The institute has clarified key details for candidates preparing for BITSAT-2026.

Eligible candidates can register for the BITSAT 2026 through the official website at bitsadmission.com. BITS Pilani has answered the BITSAT 2026 Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQs) on the official website. The last date to register for the entrance test is March 16, 2026.

To register for the exam, candidates from all categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 3,500. The BITSAT 2026, the entrance exam, will be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 is scheduled from April 15 to 17, 2026, while Session 2 will take place from May 24 to 26, 2026.

BITSAT 2026: Eligibility and academic criteria

FAQ: Who is eligible to appear for BITSAT-2026?

Answer: Candidates should have passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026 with a minimum of 75% aggregate in PCM/PCB and at least 60% in individual subjects. PCM students are eligible for all first-degree programmes, while PCB students can apply only for BPharm and BE Environmental and Sustainability Engineering.

FAQ: Can students who passed Class 12 in 2024 or earlier apply?

Answer: No, only candidates passing in 2025 or 2026 are eligible to appear for BITSAT-2026.

FAQ: Do I need to apply separately for Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses?

Answer: No, a single online application covers all three campuses.

FAQ: Can candidates appear in both BITSAT sessions?

Answer: Yes. Candidates who appear in both sessions will have the higher score considered for admission.

FAQ: Can I change my test date, slot, or centre after submission?

Answer: Test dates and slots cannot be changed after selection. Centres can only be changed during the official edit window on the application portal.

FAQ: What if I missed Session-1 but want to appear in Session-2?

Answer: Candidates who applied for Session-1 or did not apply can register for Session-2 during the Session-2 application window.
