Eligible candidates can register for the BITSAT 2026 through the official website at bitsadmission.com. BITS Pilani has answered the BITSAT 2026 Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQs) on the official website. The last date to register for the entrance test is March 16, 2026.
To register for the exam, candidates from all categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 3,500. The BITSAT 2026, the entrance exam, will be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 is scheduled from April 15 to 17, 2026, while Session 2 will take place from May 24 to 26, 2026.
BITSAT 2026: Eligibility and academic criteria
FAQ: Who is eligible to appear for BITSAT-2026?
Answer: Candidates should have passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026 with a minimum of 75% aggregate in PCM/PCB and at least 60% in individual subjects. PCM students are eligible for all first-degree programmes, while PCB students can apply only for BPharm and BE Environmental and Sustainability Engineering.
FAQ: Can students who passed Class 12 in 2024 or earlier apply?
Answer: No, only candidates passing in 2025 or 2026 are eligible to appear for BITSAT-2026.
FAQ: I reappeared for some subjects in Class 12. What should I do?
Answer: Candidates should submit both the original marksheet and the improved marksheet. The latest marks will be considered for eligibility.
FAQ: Can PCB students apply for dual degree programmes?
Answer: No. PCB students admitted in BPharm are not eligible for dual degree or transfer options.
FAQ: Are students currently studying in any BITS campus eligible for BITSAT-2026?
Answer: No. Candidates currently enrolled at any BITS campus are not eligible to apply.

BITSAT FAQ 2026: Application process and exam sessions
FAQ: Do I need to apply separately for Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses?
Answer: No, a single online application covers all three campuses.
FAQ: Can candidates appear in both BITSAT sessions?
Answer: Yes. Candidates who appear in both sessions will have the higher score considered for admission.
FAQ: Can I change my test date, slot, or centre after submission?
Answer: Test dates and slots cannot be changed after selection. Centres can only be changed during the official edit window on the application portal.
FAQ: What if I missed Session-1 but want to appear in Session-2?
Answer: Candidates who applied for Session-1 or did not apply can register for Session-2 during the Session-2 application window.
FAQ: How can I retrieve my application number or printout?
Answer: Lost application numbers or printouts can be retrieved through the registered email ID on the online portal. The form cannot be sent by post or email.
BITSAT Exam 2026: Dual degree, MSc, foreign admissions
FAQ: What is the dual degree option in BITS?
Answer: Students admitted to MSc programmes may be eligible for a dual B.E. degree, based on first-year performance.
FAQ : Are MSc programmes two-year courses?
Answer: No. MSc programmes at BITS are four-year integrated first-degree courses after 12th, with no intermediate B.Sc. degree awarded.
FAQ: Can foreign nationals or OCI holders apply for BITSAT?
Answer: Yes, they can apply through BITSAT or the International Student Admission (ISA) mode. Fees are as per the official schedule, and nationality should match the passport.
FAQ: How can a candidate apply for the BITS Dubai campus?
