Download NowNEW DELHI: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani has again postponed the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2020 due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic situation. The authorities will soon announce the revised dates for BITSAT examination on the official website at bitsadmission.com. The BITSAT 2020 exam date was scheduled to be held between August 6 to 10 and recently on July 1, the test city allotment was communicated to candidates, but now all the events so announced have been postponed till further notice.

It may be noted that originally, the exam was scheduled to be conducted in May but was postponed as complete lockdown was announced in all states due to this pandemic. The exam was rescheduled by the authorities to August as the lockdown regulations were a bit relieved. But as the COVID-19 cases are increasing exponentially in various parts of the country, the authorities again decided to postpone BITSAT exam dates until things are a bit under control.

Candidates can call on the above mentioned contact numbers Monday to Friday between 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm, while on Saturday between 9 am to 1 pm.
About BITSAT 2020
The Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences Admission Test, which is popularly known as BITSAT is conducted for admissions into engineering courses at BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. The exam is conducted in online mode wherein, multiple choice questions are framed to test the basic knowledge of candidates aspiring for engineering courses. Those eligible candidates who qualify the exam have to participate in the counselling process for BITS admission in the institute.
