Try NowNEW DELHI: Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will release the BITSAT 2024 city intimation slip on the official website, bitsadmission.com, May 3. Candidates will be able to select the date and lot for the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2024 from May 6 to 10.
BITS Pilani is conducting the BITSAT 2024 for admission into engineering, sciences, technology, pharmacy, management and humanities programmes. BITSAT 2024 session 1 exam will be conducted from May 20 to 24 while BITS HD 2024 will be held on May 19. The question paper will be in English and students will have to attempt 130 questions in three hours. The BITSAT BTech paper will have four parts – physics, chemistry, English proficiency and logical reasoning, and mathematics.
Part 1 and 2 will have 40 questions. Part 3 will be divided into two sections, which will have 15 and 10 questions. The maths section will have 45 questions. Each question will be worth 3 marks. However, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Class 12 board exam topper will not have to appear for the BITSAT 2024. The application form link for admissions under the ‘board topper’ scheme will be open from May 15 to June 15. During this period, candidates who secured first rank in PCM/PCB in their respective boards are eligible to apply for admissions. The first rank holder of PCM stream will be considered for admission to all first degree courses in BITS Pilani. The first rank holder of PCB stream will be considered for admission to BPharmacy programme only.
