NEW DELHI: BML Munjal University (BMU) has introduced the BMU Standard Aptitude Test (BMU-SAT) on March 4, 2021. The BMU-SAT is an online exam that will be conducted from this year for admitting candidates to various undergraduate (UG) programmes offered by the BML Munjal University.
The BHU-SAT is designed to determine the applicant’s ability to succeed in various UG programmes offered by BML Munjal University. To take admission to BTech, BBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom and BA at BML Munjal University, candidates have to appear in the BMU-SAT.
Ziya Uddin, Assistant Dean said, “As we are gearing up to open admissions for the undergraduate courses at BMU, the BMU-SAT exam is designed to gauge the scholastic capability of the students and prepare for university education at BMU.”
She further added, “BMU-SAT will serve as an alternative route for students to get admission into undergraduate programmes at BMU. Given how grade inflation is rising in the country, it’s time for educational institutions to switch to a new format. These competitive exams will eventually help attract teaching and research talent apart from the collaboration with the industry for placements”.
The BMU-SAT will only be held for admission to undergraduate programmes. The eligibility criteria for admission to UG programmes mentions that candidates must have passed Class 12 and have to secure qualifying marks in the BMU-SAT. The admissions will be done on the basis of the candidate's merit and aptitude.
