BML Munjal University launches BTech in Engineering Science

NEW DELHI: BML Munjal University, Gurugram, has launched a new course – Btech in engineering science.

Under it, students can opt for one of four specializations in interdisciplinary domains including geospatial science, environmental science, materials science, and nano science.

Applicants need to fill the application form online. The last date for application is March 26, 2020.

The primary highlights of the course would be that it will allow students to study subjects where sciences intersect with engineering.

This will help develop “rigour in the engineering science ‘fundamentals’ in the students”, said Manoj K. Arora, the Vice-Chancellor.

According to the statement released by the university, the “new programme is aimed to act as the foundation of future build-your-own-degree programmes. These are intended to allow freedom to prospective students in choosing the structure and progress of their chosen degree programmes based on their interests, market demands, and rapidly changing educational environments.
