BPSC 70th CCE answer key 2024 out for re-exam held on January 4; challenge by January 21

NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued the answer key or OMR sheet for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) re-exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the BPSC 70th CCE answer key 2024 through the official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

“All candidates who appeared for these exams are informed that they can download their OMR sheets from the Commission's website (https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in) by logging into their dashboard from 3 pm on January 19, 2025, until January 21, 2025,” the official notice read.

Candidates will have to enter their application number and password to download the BPSC 70th CCE answer key 2024. The commission has also opened the objection window for the BPSC 70th CCE answer key 2024.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the BPSC 70th CCE answer key 2024 can challenge it through the official website. The BPSC 70th CCE answer key objection window will be open till January 21, 2025. The commission further informed that the last date to download the BPSC 70th CCE OMR sheet is January 21, 2025.

The commission conducted the BPSC 70th CCE re-exam on January 4, 2025, at 22 centres in Patna. A total of 12,000 candidates appeared for the exam. The re-exam was conducted due to alleged paper leaks. Candidates who appeared at the Bapu exam centre had alleged that the BPSC 70th CCE paper was leaked and claimed that the seal of the question paper was broken.

BPSC exam protest

The BPSC 70th CCE recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,027 vacancies across various departments of the Bihar government. The commission conducted the BPSC 70th CCE exam on December 13. Hours after the exam began, hundreds of candidates boycotted the exam alleging paper leak.

Thousands of students are protesting against the BPSC 70th CCE exam demanding exam cancellation. Political leaders are also supporting the BPSC protestors and demanding the cancellation of the exam.

Recently, congress leader Rahul Gandhi also visited the BPSC protest site and spent several minutes with aggrieved students. Jan Suraaj Party also supported the protest and moved to the Patna High Court, seeking cancellation of the competitive tests.

Legal notices to coaching institutes, politicians

Recently, the BPSC sent legal notices to coaching institutes and politicians who have levelled "baseless" allegations over the CCE exam held on December 13.

Speaking to PTI, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Examination Controller, BSPC, said, "The commission has sent notices to a number of individuals, including politicians, certain people associated with coaching centres... those who have made baseless allegations against the BPSC... some more notices will be sent shortly."
