BPSC allows use of calculators for April 28, 30 exams; bans for optional subject

NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has allowed candidates to use simple calculator for the BPSC 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains 2025 general studies paper I on April 28 and scientific calculator for the mathematics and statistics paper on April 30. However, calculators will be prohibited for the optional subject exam in the first shift on April 29.

The commission has released the admit card for BPSC 70th CCE Mains exam 2025. Candidates can now download their admit card from the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Additionally, as per the BPSC notice, the photos and signatures of few candidates are unclear or missing. Candidates are advised to submit a proof document to the superintendent of the concerned examination center on April 25 exam.

Candidates can download their declaration form available on the commission’s website. Candidates will have to fill in the form, affix a colored photograph attested by a gazetted officer in the designated space, and sign in Hindi and English in the specified areas.

Candidates have to fix one colored photograph attested by the gazetted officer next to the specified space in their admit card, and a second photograph should be affixed on the admit card in the presence of the superintendent at the exam center.

Candidates have to carry their BPSC 70th CCE admit card along with an ID proof to the exam centre for verification purposes. Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam centre after the superintendent verifies all the documents and details received from the candidates.

The BPSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,035 vacancies available. The BPSC 70th CCE Mains 2025 exams are scheduled to be held on April 25, 26, 28, 29, and 30.
