BPSC Civil Service 64th Main Exam 2018 to begin from today ; Know Details here

NEW DELHI, JULY 12: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) civil service 64th Combined Main (Written) Competitive Examination has commenced from today. Earlier BPSC had announced the exam dates of Bihar Civil Services 2018 Mains on June 10, 2019. BPSC mains exam will be conducted from July 12 to July 16, 2019. This exam is being conducted for 1395 vacancies. Earlier 2,95,444 candidates appeared in prelims and out of them only 19,019 were qualified in first stage of exam. BPSC civil services combined mains exam will be conducted in afternoon session (1 to 4 pm) across the different exam centres in Bihar only.

Time Table for BPSC Mains Exam:

*General Hindi consists of 100 marks which is qualifying in nature.

Candidates who have earlier qualified BPSC preliminary exam are only eligible to appear for the mains exam. According to the exam pattern, General Studies 1 & General Studies 2 carries 300 marks for individually while the total marks of optional paper is equivalent to total marks of honours papers in Graduation. Candidates will be given 3 hours to answer each paper.

BPSC conducts Civil Services exam for the recruitment of candidates to various posts like Revenue Officer, Block Panchayat Officer, Assistant Registrars in Cooperative Societies, Bihar Police.
