BPSC TRE 2023 phase 2 registration starts at bpsc.bih.nic.in; eligibility criteria, fee

BPSC Teacher Recruitment Exam 2023 phase 2 process is being conducted to fill 69,706 vacancies in Classes 6 to 12.
NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started the registration process of the BPSC Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) 2023 phase 2 on the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. The BPSC TRE 2023 phase 2 is being held to fill 69,706 vacancies in Classes 6 to 12.
The registration window will be open till November 14 without payment of late fee. Applicants can register with payment of late fee from November 14 to 17. Candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 750. However, female candidates and applicants belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories will have to pay Rs 200 non-refundable registration fee.
Applicants applying for teaching jobs in Classes 6 to 8 should have cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper II or Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) Paper II. Those applying for Classes 9 to 12 should have cleared (BTET) Paper II. Candidates should have also secured the graduation degree and BEd degree for applying for the exam.
Eligibility criteria
- BA or BSc and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- BA or BSc with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations
- Higher secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BElEd)
- Higher secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four-year BA/BSc-Ed or BAEd/BScEd
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and BEd (Special Education)
- The applicants should have secured a degree or its equivalent with the subjects or languages in which they are applying.

A total of 3,436 posts will
be filled for English, followed by 3,423 in Hindi and 2,320 in science for Classes 9 and 10. In Classes 11 and 12, the commission will fill 2,704 vacancies in non-rashtriya bhasha (NRB) subjects, 1,971 in English and 1,919 in physics.
