BPSC TRE Result 2023: Bihar teacher exam results date updates; OMR sheet download deadline extended

According to the new policy introduced by the Bihar government, candidates who have qualified for the TRE will also have to appear for the centralised exam to be recruited as teachers.

The BPSC document verification round for recruitment to the various teaching posts will be done from October 15 to October 20, 2023. 

General category candidates have to secure 40% marks while OBC candidates should score a minimum of 36.5% in the exam. SC, ST candidates are required to score 34% whereas female and PwD candidates will need 32% marks to pass the teacher recruitment exam. 

BPSC TRE result 2023 will be announced on BPSC official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Candidates who appeared for Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE)  will need the following credentials to check the BPSC TRE result 2023

Candidates will be selected for Bihar School Teacher recruitment exam on the basis of a written test followed by document verification and medical exam.

The commission is expected to announce the category-wise cut-off marks for BPSC TRE exan 2023. Once released, candidates can check their TRE cut-offs along with the result at- bpsc.bih.nic.in.

BPSC is conducting this recruitment drive to fill a total of 1,70,461 school teacher vacancies across the state.

The BPSC TRE result 2023 is expected to be out soon. Once announced, candidates will be able to check their results from the websites given below-

Candidates have increased their demands for declaration of BPSC TRE result 2023. As Bihar Public Service Commission extended the last date to download BPSC OMR sheet pointing towards a delay in result declaration, candidates took to X urging the commission chairman Atul Prasad to declare the results immediately. While some aspirants called out BPSC for passing time, others requested the commission to announce the BPSC teacher result as they have been waiting for 4-5 years. 

Another BPSC TRE candidate demanded BPSC teacher result 2023 and asked BPSC chairman to declare Class 9-10 results if not primary.

A candidate asked BPSC chairman Atul Prasad why BPSC TRE result 2023 is being delayed. "When the test was taken at the scheduled time and all other work was completed on time, atul sir, Why are the results not being declared on time? Bihar Board conducted STET and also declared the result. Why did the commission fail?," they said in a post on X.

Candidates who appeared for Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission will need the following credentials for BPSC TRE login:

• Registration number generated after registering for the exam
• Password used to login

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that BPSC TRE OMR sheet for Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination will be available till October 15 on the candidate's dashboard now. Earlier, the BPSC OMR sheet was available till October 10 only. 

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will prepare BPSC TRE provisional merit list of successful candidates on the basis of result of the written exam. In case of tie in written result, candidates of lesser age will be preferred. In case of tie in age, candidates having names according to the alphabets in Devnagri script will be preferred.

As per BPSC, general category category must secure at least 40 per cent marks to qualify for the exam. At the same time, the Backward class candidates must score minimum 36.5 per cent and Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are required to score 34 per cent. While this criteria for Women and Disabled (Divyang) candidates is 32 per cent.

BPSC has not announced results of the Teacher Recruitment Exam yet. Once released, candidates will be able to download the BPSC TRE result 2023 through the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The Bihar Public Service Commission is conducting the Bihar TRE 2023 for 1,70,461  vacancies for Classes 1 to 12. The Bihar government will fill 79,943 vacancies of Classes 1 to 5, 32,916 posts of Classes 9 to 10 and 57,602 teachers' posts of Classes 11 to 12.

BPSC teacher answer key 2023 was released in the month of September. Candidates who appeared for BPSC teacher recruitment exam were allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key. The final answer key will be released after reviewing the objections.

Bihar government introduced new rules for the recruitment of school teachers for state schools this year. As per Bihar State School Teachers (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Condition) Rules, 2023, those candidates who have qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test will also have to appear for the centralised exam in order to be eligible. Aspirants and teachers were unhappy with the decision as they had to sit for yet another exam even after qualifying STET.

BPSC chairman Atul Prasad said earlier in a post on X that BPSC TRE result 2023 will be declared in phases starting with Classes 11 to 12. "TRE Results will be declared in phases starting with 11-12, 9-10 & then  Primary" he said.
