Download EBookThe Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the district-wise list of top three students for the Secondary Annual Examination 2026. This year, several students have scored above 97%, reflecting strong academic outcomes.
As per the list, Pushpanjali Kumari from Jamui and Sabreen Praween from Vaishali, who both secured an outstanding 98.4%, making them among the top scorers in the state . Close behind, students from districts like Begusarai and Buxar also delivered excellent results, with scores touching 97% and above.
Purnea district reported strong performances as well, with Ansh Raj scoring 97.4%, followed by several students crossing the 95% mark. Similar trends were seen in Banka and Samastipur, where toppers achieved scores above 97%, indicating consistent performance across regions.

In Araria, Sumit Kumar Yadav topped the district with 97%, while Kishanganj’s Ruhi Naj led with 95.4%. Districts such as Katihar, Munger, and Lakhisarai also saw their top students scoring in the 95–96% range.
Meanwhile, urban centres like Patna and Muzaffarpur maintained steady results. Suhani Sonam emerged as the topper in Patna with 96.2%, and Sadiya Sami led Muzaffarpur with 96.4%. Other districts including Bhagalpur, Nalanda, Bhojpur, and Rohtas also recorded multiple high scorers above 96%.

Students can access and download the BSEB Matric Result 2026 by following these simple steps:

Bihar Board 10th Result 2026: Scrutiny, special, compartment exam
In an official announcement, BSEB said students who are not satisfied with their marks in one or more subjects can apply for scrutiny of their answer sheets. The application window will be open online from April 1 to April 7, while detailed instructions for the process will be released separately.
At the same time, the board has also opened registrations for the matric special examination 2026 and the compartmental examination 2026. Students can submit their applications for both during the same period, from April 1 to April 7. The board aims to declare the results of these exams by May 31, 2026.
