BSEB Inter Exams 2025: Over 6 lakh appear in shift 1; day 4 sees 7 expulsions

Enrol NowNEW DELHI: A total of 6,71,023 students appeared on day 4 of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Inter English exam in the first shift today, February 6, while 5,98,572 appeared for Hindi subject in the second shift.
A total of seven disqualifications were reported across the state today with Nalanda district seeing the highest number, where three candidates were disqualified for violating examination rules. The other districts with disqualifications included Jehanabad (1), Nawada (1), and Sheikhpura (2).

BSEB Inter Exams 2025: Impersonation cases
In addition to the disqualifications, three impersonators were reportedly arrested from across the state. Two were caught in Nawada district while one was arrested from Madhepura. The arrests come at a time the authorities are striving to uphold the integrity of the examination process.
Meanwhile, the board has issued new dress code guidelines for students appearing for Class 12 board exams 2025. As per the revised guidelines, the board has prohibited students from wearing shoes and socks in the Bihar Class 12 exams 2025. The new BSEB dress code will be followed in the exams scheduled to be held from February 6 to 15, 2025.

In past years, the BSEB strictly prohibited students from wearing shoes and socks inside Bihar Board 12th exam halls as per its regulations. However, considering the cold weather, the board decided to ease this restriction during the Bihar Board Inter exam 2025.
After the improvement in the weather, the board has banned students from wearing shoes and socks in the examinations till February 15.
The BSEB Class 12 Chemistry exam will be conducted in the first shift tomorrow, February 7 from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. In the second shift, the English exam will be conducted for the students of Arts Faculty and Vocational Course from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
