CA CPT result 2019 declared for June session; check details here

NEW DELHI, July 18- The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the result of CA CPT examination on July 18 for June 2019 session. It may be noted that May 2019 session was conducted in June after postponement because of Lok Sabha elections with CA CPT exam held on June 16. Candidates are able to check the result using their roll number and PIN or registration number. The result page shows the marks obtained by candidates in separate papers, groups and the overall aggregate as well. Steps are provided to be followed for checking CA result 2019.

How to check CA CPT result 2019?

The CA CPT result can be checked online and the already registered candidates can receive the CA CPT result via email and text message as well. Candidates have to follow the steps given below to check the result of CA CPT online:

  1. Visit the official website of ICAI - www.icai.org

  2. Select the Common Proficiency Test

  3. Enter your CA CPT roll number and PIN or registration number

  4. Click on ‘Check result’

  5. The CA CPT result will be displayed on screen, download and take 2-3 prints.

Candidates had the option to receive CA CPT result via mail and could request for the same from July 15. Such candidates received their CA CPT result directly on their registered email. Candidates can know their result through SMS as well. For this, they will have to compose a text- “CACPT(space) six digit CPT roll number” and send this to 58888.

CA CPT result shows the sectional score as well as the overall aggregate of a candidate. So, in order to pass in CA CPT exam, a candidate has to score minimum 30% marks in each one of the four papers and 50% or above marks in overall aggregate. June 2019 was the last session for CA CPT, so those who could not qualify will have to appear in CA Foundation December 2019 and those who qualify will be eligible to apply for Intermediate or IPCC. May 2020 is the last session for CA IPCC as well.
