Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan partner to enhance student opportunities

Students pursuing DElEd, BEd, BCom, and BBA at BVB will be equipped with English skills, employability, and international mobility.

NEW DELHI: The Cambridge University Press and Assessment has joined hands with the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) to enhance academic skills and professional growth of students pursuing bachelors and diploma degrees at the institution. The partnership will enhance English skills, employability, and international mobility for Indian students, as per the official statement.

Students at BVB, pursuing Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd), Bachelor of Education (BEd), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), will gain access to Cambridge’s English learning resources, skill-based certifications, and assessment tools designed to boost careers, the university said.

Arunachalam TK, regional director, English, South Asia at Cambridge University Press and Assessment, said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan to empower students with global skills and opportunities. This partnership is a step towards bridging the gap between academia and industry.”

The BVB has become a Cambridge English Educational Partner (CEEP) through which students will receive international certifications, and enhanced placement opportunities, the university added. Students of BVB will be equipped with “industry-aligned skills and training, and comprehensive skill development in critical thinking, communication, and leadership to meet evolving industry demands,” it added.

ML Malhotra, registrar at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, said: “With this MoU, our students will gain international exposure and access to globally recognised certifications that will enhance their career prospects.”
