Canara Bank PO result 2018 for December online test declared; cut off released too

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 15: Canara Bank has declared the result of Canara Bank PO 2018 for online test. The result has been announced in offline mode for the examination held on December 23. Candidates can check their result for the online test by visiting the official website https://www.canarabank.com/english/careers/recruitment and clicking on “ Recruitment of Probationary Officers in JMGS-I on completion of specially designed PGDBF Course” link. After clicking on the link, candidates can find a PDF file opening in front of them.

The Canara Bank PO result PDF 2018 carries names, roll numbers, registration number s and r egistered categor ies of the qualified candidates. According to the result data of Canara Bank PO December 2018 session, 2419 candidates have been shortlisted for appearing in g roup d iscussion and i nterview. The qualified candidates will now have to download their c all letters for g roup d iscussion and i nterview, which will be available on the official website of the Canara Bank shortly.

The interviews and group discussions will take place in the first week of February, while the time and venue of the GD/interviews will be communicated to the candidates personally. An official announcement by the Canara Bank officials reads," The Group Discussion and Interview will be held tentatively during the first week of February 2019. The exact date, time and venue for Group Discussion and Interview will be communicated to the successful candidates in due course.”

However, it must be noted that the candidates do not have to simply appear for the GD/interview, but they need to go with their documents, which will be submitted at the time of g roup d iscussion and i nterview. R eserved category candidates have to submit valid Caste/PWD certificate as per Government of India format.

The result for the group discussion and interview will be announced by the last week of February 2019. Post the result announcement of Canara Bank PO GD and interview, the qualified candidates will be eligible for admission to one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance.

Canara Bank PO examination is held twice a year for the recruitment of Probationary Officers across the different branches of the bank. Earlier, the examination was held on March 4, 2018, while the December session was held on December 23, 2018 in online mode. This year, the examination authority has declared 800 vacancies for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in Canara Bank.
