Use NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 24 : IIM Kozhikode successfully conducted the Common Admission Test (CAT 2019) on November 24,2019. This year more than two lakh candidates appeared for the examination. There was mixed reaction to the CAT exam as some of the candidates found it difficult and time consuming while others found it easy However, one of the common aspects was that most of the students who were from the non technical background they found the quantitative ability section considerably difficulty as compared to other. The experts are of the view that it is unlikely that they will be a big change in the qualifying score for CAT 2019. Check the analysis for CAT 2019 slot 1 and slot 2 below.

According to one of the candidates Mohit“ The comprehension passage was easier but easier , logical reasoning section was moderately time consuming .The quant was however was more difficult in comparison to the other two.
Another candidate Shruti says “ Comprehension passage was time consuming, reasoning and mathematics section was very difficult and complicated”
CAT 2019 Slot 1
CAT 2019 slot 1 commenced between 9:00 to 12:00 PM. According to the correspondent the paper was easier. However the quant section was difficult as the slot 1
Overall the difficulty level of the examination was moderate in comparison. Comparing to the previous year the paper was easier in reading comprehension and verbal ability. The reasoning section were moderate and quant part can be said to be difficult.
