Use NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 23: Less than twenty four hours are left for the Common Admission Test (CAT) to begin and it is essential that candidates remember some of the vital points so that all their hard work does not go in vain. Indian Institute of Management, Kozikhode had issued certain guidelines and instructions for the candidates which they had to follow on the day of CAT.

Key Points To Keep In Mind on Exam Day
Reach your test centre on time - Any candidate who reaches the exam centre late will not be allowed to appear for CAT 2019 according to the guidelines issued by the authorities. Those who will appear for the entrance exam for the morning shift they must ensure that they reach the test centre by 7:30 a.m while those who have the exam in the afternoon, they must arrive at the test centre by 1 pm
Carry your CAT Admit Card and Valid Photo Identity Proof - All the candidates who will be appearing for CAT 2019, they must remember that without the admit card they will not be given entry to the test centre. The admit card should be printed on A4 size paper. Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry a valid identity proof and a photograph, similar to the one that they had pasted in the registration form.
Check the Address of CAT Test Centre - For the convenience of the candidates, the authorities have provided Google Map link on the admit card. Candidates must check the link to locate the test centre and made adequate transport arrangements so that there is no delay on their part to arrive at the test centre.
Do Not Carry Any Electronic Gadgets - IIM Kozhikode has stated in the guidelines that none of the candidates will be allowed to carry with them any electronic gadgets such as mobile phone, wallets, bag, jewellery, watch, stationery items etc
About CAT 2019
According to the release issued by IIM Kozhikode, 2,44,169 candidates have registered for the exam and 92% of them have been allotted the test centre in their first preference city. Soon after the exam, the response sheet will be released and candidates will get an opportunity to challenge it within the stipulated time.
