Use NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 24: The first slot of Common Admission Test (CAT) will begin at 9:00 a.m. Candidates are seen arriving at the test centre by using different modes of transportation. Stringent measures have been placed at the test centre in order to ensure that the exam is conducted in a fair and transparent manner. Some of the students are seen studying before they enter the test centre.

Instructions and Seating Arrangement

Candidates must check the instructions that need to be followed once they enter the test centre

The seating arrangement has been mentioned. Candidates can check their roll number and sit in the room that is allotted to them.

Before entering the exam hall candidates must check that they have the admit card with them along with valid identity proof

None of the candidates were allowed to carry any electronic gadgets inside the exam centre

Candidates were not allowed to wear any metal or jewellery

The security personnel did not allow any of the candidates to carry with them any stationery, writing material or notepad

The guard at the security gate was continuously asking the parents and friends to not crowd at the gate.

The authorities were asking those candidates who had metal implants, pacemakers to provide medical certificates and it was being checked at the gate

Inside the exam hall candidates have to undergo biometric verification also
