Use NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 24, 2019: The second slot for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 has begun at 2.30 PM. No candidate was permitted to enter the centre after 2.15 PM. On arriving at the test centre, the admit card and ID proof were scrutinized. At one of the test centre, candidates who came without the admit card or did not have a valid identity proof, they were not allowed to appear for the entrance test.

Guidelines to be followed inside the exam hall

Candidates checked for the location of their test lab based on the reference number mentioned on the admit card.

Frisking activity was performed, any kind of argument was not entertained.

Students were not allowed to carry the following items:

Bag
-
Phone
-
Paper/copy
-
Food
-
Calculator
-

Candidates could only wear:

Socks
-
Plain sweaters or pullovers without pockets

Students having any kind of metal implant had to show certificate for the same.

Facility of safekeeping is not provided. Institution is not responsible for any kind of loss of items.

Candidates must carry original ID proofs, no photocopies or scanned copies were accepted.

Bio-Breaks are not allowed in between the examination.

Footwears were removed outside the test lab.

After document verification, students had to move to the registration desk for:

Capturing the left thumb impression and photograph of the candidate

Signing the attendance sheet.

Participants are provided the scribble pad and pen for rough work.

Exam instructions is being read by the invigilator before the commencement of examination.

Aspirants appearing more than once for exam, will be disqualified.

Students must not use keyboard as it will lock the system.

After the conclusion of the exam, candidates will get to know the overall difficulty level of the entrance exam as well as the sectional cutoff .This will help them get an idea about the likely marks that they will score and what are the prospects of making their way to the IIMs and other B-schools.
