Download EbookNEW DELHI - Indian Institute of Management, Indore has brought about a paradigm shift in the duration of the CAT 2020 exam. In a late night notification issued on the official website of CAT 2020, the institute has stated that according to the CAT paper pattern, the entrance exam will be of two hours of duration instead of three hours. However, they are yet to mention the details related to the marking scheme and the total number of questions which will be asked in the CAT exam. IIM Indore will provide detailed information about the number of questions and marking scheme on September 20.The CAT exam is scheduled to take place on November 29.

Know all about the changed CAT exam pattern
According to the news exam pattern of CAT, there will be three sections from which the questions will be asked. The time allotted to answer the questions in each section has been reduced to 40 minutes each. If we go by past years trends then it is likely that 20 minutes extra will be provided to candidates who belong to the PwD category. However, details for the same are awaited.

Note: While answering the questions in CAT exam, candidates will not be allowed to navigate to another section till the time they have completed answering the questions in one section.
CAT Mock Test 2020
IIM Indore will also issue CAT 2020 Mock tests so that the students do not face any problem while answering the questions on the day of the actual exam. The primary aim of providing the CAT mock test is to enable the candidates to get a better understanding about the navigation process as well as they would also get to know how to use onscreen calculator.
