CAT 2020 Exam - IIM Indore announces name of convener

NEW DELHI - The Director of Indian Institute of Management, Indore which is the conducting IIM for CAT exam 2020 has announced that Professor Harshal Lowalekar, Faculty for Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques area will be the convener for the Common Admission Test. CAT 2020 notification is expected to be released anytime soon and it will mention the CAT exam date and the pattern.

About CAT Convener Professor Harshal Lowalekar

Professor Harshal Lowalekar who has been appointed as the convener for CAT exam has been a Fulbright-Nehru Postdoctoral Fellow at W.P. Carey School of Business Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA and has also pursued the fellow programme in Management which is equivalent to a Ph.D from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

He has edited Nachiappan, S., Sambandam, N., & Lowalekar, H. (2012). Indore Management Journal: Special issue on Selected Reviewed Papers from ORSI (2010) and SOM (2010) Conferences, 3(2) and has made presentations in several conferences.

As part of teaching experience, at the doctoral level he has taught courses on theory of constraints and simulation modeling and analysis. Presently, he is also the Chair Admissions at IIM Indore.

About CAT Exam

The Common Admission Test is conducted every year for all the management aspirants who want to pursue MBA from the IIMs. Also there are a number of institutes that offer admission to the candidates on the basis of CAT score.
