Use NowNEW DELHI - Indian Institute of Management, Indore has released the CAT 2020 exam day workflow which includes the timing for the arrival at the test centre, frisking at the test centre, getting the admit card verified locating the lab etc. Also IIM Indore has listed the do’s and don’ts which the candidates must follow on the day of the CAT 2020 exam so as to avoid any hassle. Also IIM Indore has mentioned that candidates belonging to the PwD category will get 53 minutes and 20 seconds to answer the questions in each section.

CAT 2020 exam day workflow
Know all about Do’s and Don’ts for CAT 2020 Exam

Candidates must ensure that they have the CAT 2020 admit card printed on A4 size and the image and signature of the candidate is eligible

Do not forget to carry original valid id proof along with the CAT admit card 2020

Take note of the google map link to locate the CAT test centre

Paste the picture on the admit card

Get the temperature checked at the CAT 2020 test centre gate long with document verification and iris and photo capture

Barcode which is printed on the admit card will help the candidates to locate the exam lab
-
It is compulsory for the candidates to provide attendance in the Form with signature when asked for in the exam lab of CAT test.
Don’ts for the candidates appearing for the CAT Exam

None of the candidates will be allowed to carry any prohibited items such as jewellery, electronic gadgets etc
-
Do not cheat during the CAT exam or disturb other candidates

Do not argue with the invigilator at the CAT 2020 exam centre

Make sure that you do not use the keyboard as it will result in locking the system
-
Do not waste writing page at the test centre and ensure that you submit all the pages before leaving the exam hall
Time allotted to candidates for Completing the CAT exam
Candidates will get 40 minutes to complete each section of the CAT exam while those who belong to the PwD category, they will get 53 minutes and 20 seconds. However, Pwd category candidates who will appear for the CAT exam will have an option to submit the answers of a section at any point of time after the completion of 40 minutes. Thus, they would have an option to finish the CAT exam between 120 to 160 minutes.
