CAT 2020 Slot 3 analysis - DI and LR was difficult
NEW DELHI - Slot 3 of CAT 2020 has concluded and according to the exam analysis, candidates found the data interpretation and logical reasoning section difficult. While reading comprehension and verbal ability were easy and quantitative ability was moderately difficult. The slot 3 of CAT 2020 was conducted from 04:30 PM to 06:30 PM wherein the candidates had to answer 76 questions from three different sections; Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR).

According to Nikhil, the exam was moderately difficult, if a student had come very prepared, then he/she must have found CAT 2020 easy. Also, DILR was comparatively more difficult than the rest of the sections.
According to Anup, the syllabus was similar to last year. VARC section was comparatively tougher. Quant was difficult too but was similar to last year. Duration of CAT 2020 was less which made it tricky to complete the exam in time.
According to Anonymous, the exam was moderate, VARC section was average and DILR was difficult. The time limit for the Quant section was lesser.
According to Sahil, the overall difficulty level of CAT 2020 was moderate but the DILR section was difficult. Quant was moderate too. The difficulty level of the exam was a surprise for Sahil since he expected the exam to be easy.
Common Admission Test, popularly known as CAT, is a national-level entrance examination conducted by respective Indian Institute of Management each year for admission to the postgraduate management programmes offered by the participating institutes. CAT will be conducted for 2 hours wherein the candidates have to answer 76 MCQs.
