NEW DELHI: IIM Indore has conducted CAT 2020 exam today in three slots for 2,27,835 students at 430 test centres. A total of 76 questions were asked in CAT 2020 question paper of each slot. Overall, the VARC section was moderate to easy, DILR was difficult section while Quant was easy to moderate. Overall CAT analysis 2020 states that slot 1 and 2 exam difficulty level was moderate. Coaching institutes are also releasing detailed IIM CAT 2020 exam analysis, cutoff and answer key.

IIM Indore has conducted the CAT exam 2020 slot 3 exam today on November 29. CAT 2020 exam time for all three slots: Morning shift (8:30 to 10:30 am), afternoon shift (12:30 to 2:30 pm) and evening shift (4:30 to 6:30 pm). IIM Indore will release official answer key by December 5, 2020, in the format of individual CAT response sheet. Candidates will get to know what are the responses that they have given in CAT 2020 and they will get an opportunity to challenge it within the specified time period. CAT answer key 2020 will be provided to all the candidates who appeared in 3 different slots. The answer key of CAT 2020 will be available online on iimcat.ac.in. Students will be able to download CAT 2020 answer key through the login window by entering user ID and password.
However, some institutes may release CAT 2020 answer key before the official one. But one should wait for official answer key to know their exact probable score as unofficial answer keys are prepared as per students' feedback.

Slot 3 exam of CAT 2020 was a bit difficult as compared to slot 1 and 2 exam. DILR was a very difficult part, VARC was moderate to difficult and QA was doable. Quant had some questions from geometry and arithmetic topics.
Students are coming out of their CAT 2020 exam centre
The last shift exam of CAT 2020 has been concluded at 6:30 pm. Today, all three slot exams were conducted smoothly. But some student faced technical glitch and reported for the same on Twitter. As CAT was organized during COVID-19 pandemic, candidates and exam centre officials wear a mask, maintained proper social distancing and followed other guidelines.

IIM MBA admission slot 1 exam analysis by Bulls Eye states that the paper was of moderate difficulty level. Students can check section-wise CAT 2020 review by Bulls Eye below:
Verbal Ability Review: The difficulty level was of moderate. There were four RC passages of 450-500 words each. Two passages had 4 questions each and two passages had 5 questions. Para jumbles and odd one out were all TITA questions. and 4 questions were of summary. Overall an attempt of 17-20 with high accuracy will fetch 99 percentile.
DILR: This was the most difficult section among all. There were a total of 5 sets of questions. 2 sets comprised of 6 questions each and 3 sets had 4 questions each. One set was from Venn diagram. Table set was lengthy but doable. An attempt of 10-14 questions with good accuracy will fetch 99 percentile.
Quant: This was the moderately easier section. Questions were asked from commercial maths and ratio based topics. However the difficulty level was not high, but the questions were time-consuming. An attempt of 14-18 questions with good accuracy level, will fetch 99 percentile.

This year, IIM Indore has come up with changes in CAT 2020 paper pattern and has not revealed the total number of questions. Based on the mock test, it is expected that CAT 2020 will contain a total of 100 questions.
The cutoff marks of CAT 2020 exam are the minimum marks required to get selected for next round. IIM CAT 2020 cutoff is released separately by coaching institutes. IIM Bangalore and some more institutes have released MBA IIM admission 2021 cutoffs while others will release soon after the exam. First slot exam will over at 10:30 am for the morning session. After this, students will share their experience and expectations. The cutoff marks for MBA admission are announced separately by IIMs. Students who secure equal to or more than CAT cut off marks are called for the next round. IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Raipur have already announced their minimum marks for MBA admissions, while others will declare it soon after the CAT exam 2020.
