NEW DELHI: IIM Ahmedabad has received nearly 2.31 lakh CAT 2021 registrations this year. This has marked a rise over last year’s CAT registration, which was 2.30 lakh. Along with these stats, IIM Ahmedabad has also released some important CAT exam information on the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in. As per the released information regarding the CAT exam pattern, the number of questions in CAT 2021 may be reduced from each section to reduce the time pressure on candidates to complete the exam in two hours based on the previous year’s pandemic situation.

Also, IIMA has opened the CAT 2021 application form correction window today which will remain active till September 27. The official CAT mock test/ tutorials to understand the format of the test will be available in the last week of October 2021.

“Last year’s CAT format changes were necessitated due to Covid-19 pandemic. Since we are seeing the same pandemic issue this year, the CAT 2021 exam format and pattern will remain the same. However, considering that there could have been time pressure to complete the CAT exam last year on account of changes made, for CAT 2021 the CAT Committee is making an attempt in reducing the number of questions across all three sections - QA, DILR, and VARC”, reads the official CAT notice.
IIM Ahmedabad has provided the following CAT exam information for CAT 2021 aspirants:
