CAT 2023 registration ends tomorrow at iimcat.ac.in; exam pattern
CAT 2023 will be held on November 26 in three shifts and the result will be declared in mid January 2024.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow will close the registration window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 at 5 PM tomorrow. Candidates aspiring for admission into top IIMs and other B-schools in the country can register on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

The IIM Lucknow said after the closure of the registration window, candidates who have made the application fee will be able to edit the photograph, signature and test city for a very short edit window. Candidates of general category applying for the CAT 2023 should have an aggregate of 50 per cent marks while five percent relaxation in minimum marks is given to students belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories. Final-year UG students are also eligible to fill the application form for the CAT 2023.
CAT 2023: Exam pattern
The admit card for CAT 2023 will be available on the official website from October 25 to November 26. The examination will be held on November 26 in three shifts.
The exam will be divided into three sections -- verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. Students will be allotted 120 minutes -- 40 minutes each for answering questions in each section. They will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.
The IIM Lucknow said the tutorials to understand the format of the test will be available on the CAT website from October 2023. Candidates are advised to work on the tutorials available on the CAT website well in advance, it added.
The result of CAT 2023 will be declared in mid January 2024 and it will be valid for the academic session 2024-25.
