The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 will be held today, November 30. The exam will be held in three shifts: the first shift from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the second shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and the third shift from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. IIM CAT 2025 LIVE

Candidates appearing for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) entrance exam can download the CAT 2025 admit card from the official website, iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2025, organised by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode, serves as the gateway for admission to the IIMs and other leading management institutes.

Candidates should reach their designated exam centres well ahead of the reporting time to complete entry formalities, including identity verification and security checks. All exam day instructions issued by IIM Kozhikode should be strictly followed.

CAT 2025: Things to carry

Candidates should ensure they carry all the following items with them to the exam centre to complete the verification process and get entry into the exam hall.

  • Printed copy of CAT 2025 admit card.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport) for identity verification.
  • PwD certificate, if applicable, along with a medical certificate confirming the disability and a scribe affidavit, if used.
  • Legal documents and a government-stamped proof of name change, if the candidate’s name has changed due to marriage, or other reasons.
  • Candidates should not carry electronic gadgets, calculators, written notes, or any other prohibited items into the exam hall.

The CAT 2025 exam will have three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). The paper will include a total of 68 questions. According to the CAT 2025 marking scheme, candidates will earn 3 marks for each correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response in sections where negative marking applies.
