NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will be conducting the MBA entrance exam, CAT 2024, tomorrow. Candidates are required to follow the CAT dress code 2024 on the day of the exam. Here's a complete list of what to wear and what not to on the CAT exam date.

Around 3.29 lakh candidates will be sitting for the CAT exam 2024 on November 24. They are all required to carry the IIM CAT admit card 2024 along with a valid photo identity card to be allowed entry inside the exam hall.
The candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phones or any electronic gadgets like calculators, smart watches, bluetooth etc to the CAT exam hall. They will, however, be able to keep their bag or belongings in a counter outside the exam centre.
The CAT dress code for male and CAT dress code for female candidates is given below. Non-compliance of the CAT exam day guidelines 2024 will result in disqualification, as per the information bulletin.
Male and female candidates should make sure they appear for the CAT exam in the same look as the one uploaded on the application. For boys, if they have uploaded their photo without a beard then they should make sure to carry the same appearance on the exam day.
Candidates are not allowed to wear thick soles footwear.
Garments with large buttons are not allowed inside the CAT exam hall.
Clothes having pockets are not allowed.
Candidates can wear any type of dress that has no pockets attached.
Candidates can wear any type of shirt, t-shirt, trousers or whatever they are comfortable in.
Candidates should not be wearing any jewellery, ornaments or carrying any metal with them. Candidates have to avoid wearing earrings, nose pins, necklaces, anklets, bangles or any other metallic ornaments.
Mehendi, tattoos on the body, and unnatural marks will lead to disqualification.
Candidates are advised not to wear heavy makeup and keep a simple hairstyle without any ornaments.
