NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, will release the CAT notification 2021 this month, July, on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. CAT 2021 notification will announce the CAT 2021 dates, exam mode, paper pattern, eligibility, test sessions or slots, list of participating IIMs, programmes offered by IIMs among other details. After the release of the CAT notification, the registration window is expected to open in the first week of August 2021.

Common Admission Test (CAT 2021)
will be held in the last week of November 2021. It is a computer-based test conducted at the national level throughout the country for MBA/ PGDM admission to IIMs and other top MBA institutes.

About CAT 2021
With IIM Ahmedabad being the CAT 2021 conducting body and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the exam is expected to see some changes. Last year, CAT had three sections- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability. The overall duration of the exam was also reduced from three to two hours and the number of questions from 100 to 76. CAT is an important entrance exam for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes in all the 20 IIMs, FMS Delhi, SPJIMR Mumbai, MDI Gurugram, IMI New Delhi, IMT Ghaziabad, JBIMS Mumbai, TAPMI Manipal, and other hundreds of highly ranked MBA college in India.
