NEW DELHI: The notice appearing to be from the Central Board of Secondary Education claiming that CBSE 10th, 12th results 2023 will be announced tomorrow, May 11, is fake, a board spokesperson confirmed. The fake notice also claims that schools will get their results on their official email IDs.

“Result of Class 10 and 12 examination 2022-23 conducted by CBSE will be declared on May 11, following is informed to the stakeholders,” read the fake CBSE notice.
Starting with ‘results on net’, the notice said that CBSE is hosting Class 10, 12 results on internet with the help of National Informatics Centre. Students can access their results through the official website – cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.nic.in.

“The schools will automatically get their entire result on their official email ID’s already informed by the Board. Further result will also be provided in Digilocker of the school,” the fake notice added.
It went on to say that the board will provide academic documents of Class 10 and 12 digitally (marksheet-cum-certificate, migration certificates, and skill certificates, whichever is applicable) through its own academic repository ‘Parinam Manjusha’ which is integrated with digilocker. The notice mentioned the UMANG app as well.
The fake CBSE notice further explained that candidates will be able to download the Digilocker app and login using their CBSE registered mobile number, security pin and OTP. The account information has been already sent to the students, it said.

“For the first time CBSE is also giving access to schools on CBSE’s academic repository - Parinam Manjusha to download digital academic documents of their students through Digilocker. Students can login at cbse.digitallocker.gov.in by clicking sign in option using login credentials already shared by CBSE,” the notice further said.
Finally, the fake notice said that for the first time, foreign students can also get their digital marksheets on their emails and schools will get their school-wise results on their email IDs.
