NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for verification of marks, photocopy of evaluated answer books, and revaluation of CBSE 10th, 12th results 2024 for students who are not happy with their scores. The board declared CBSE Class 10th, 12th results 2024 today, May 13.

As per the schedule, Class 12 students will be able to apply for marks verification from May 17 while Class 10 marks verification window will open on May 20. Candidates will have to pay Rs 500 to avail the facility.
CBSE informed that it evaluated 1,10,50,266 answer books of 1700041 Class 12 students from 18,418 schools and of 1,48,27,963 Class 10 students from 25,726 schools. The board said that the evaluation of the students’ answer sheets was done under a ‘well-settled policy’ and listed down the steps taken for ‘error-free’ evaluation. However, if still students are not satisfied with the CBSE Board results 2024, they can avail the facilities for which the board has provided the timelines, modalities, steps, and fee.
The board informed that all the processes including application and fee payment will be conducted online and decrease in scores even by one mark will be affected. In case of change in scores, students will have to surrender the Class 10, 12 marksheets 2024 and new ones will be issued.

For obtaining the photocopy of evaluated answer books, only those students who applied for verification will be eligible. In case the candidate wants to challenge the marks awarded to a particular answer, they will have to apply for revaluation.
