NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 12 results 2023 today. The overall pass percentage of CBSE 12th Class is 87.33%, which has dropped by 5.38 percentage points. The number of students who scored 90% also dropped by over 30,000 compared to last year.

In 2022, a total of 1,34,797 secured 90 percent and above marks in the CBSE Class 12 results and 33,432 students secured 95 and above. This year, 1,12,838 students secured 90 and above and 22,622 got 95% and above.
The number of students placed in compartment has also increased to 1,25,705 compared to 67,743 students who failed last year.

As per the CBSE Class 12 gender-wise results, the girls secured 90.68% whereas the pass percentage of boys was at 84.67%. Although girls outperformed boys by 6.01%, the gender-wise pass percentage has dropped this year. Last year, girl scored 94.54% and 91.25% boys were declared pass. Transgender students recorded 100% pass percentage the previous year, but it dropped to 60% this year.
Students who appeared in the CBSE Board exams will have to enter their roll number, school number, centre ID and other credentials in the CBSE result link, cbseresults.nic.in, to check the scores secured in the exam.
