NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 10 results 2023 and had earlier announced the Class 12 results. The CBSE results 2023 is hosted on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in, and Digilocker at digilocker.gov.in. Over 21 lakh students had registered to write the CBSE 10th exam and over 16 lakh for the Class 12 one.

Earlier, the CBSE Board informed students that the CBSE Class 10th result 2023 and CBSE Class 12th result 2023 marksheets will be made through DigiLocker to access the document in digital format. The 6-digit security pin for every student is made available to schools and the board directed the CBSE schools to disseminate the security PIN to students.

Students who appeared in the CBSE Board exams will be able to check their CBSE board results 2023 by entering their roll number, school number, and admit card ID on the CBSE result link. This year, 16,96,770 students registered for Class 12 exams and 21,86,940 for CBSE Class 10.

A Class 12 student, Uday Verdi Jain topped humanities at the Sanskriti School Chanakyapuri, Delhi with 98% marks. He was a cricket player but could not play due to an operation. Jain had twisted his knee while playing football at school and had to undergo the operation. In order to distract himself from not being able to play, he kept studying for board exams.
CBSE board has not announced the Class 10 toppers list 2023 this year just like last year to avoid "unhealthy competition" amongst students. Individual schools have compiled their own subject-wise and overall toppers.
Now that the CBSE 12th results 2023 have been declared, students who are planning to go for higher studies will have to check the college admission process for their preferred courses. JEE Main 2023 for engineering, NEET UG 2023 for MBBS are over.

37 students of Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad appeared in CBSE Class 10 board exams 2023 and 100% students passed. 5.4% students have secured 95% and above whereas 29.73% students have scored between 91% and 95%.

While the pass percentage in government schools was 93.38 percent last year, it has dropped by 10 percentage points to 83.83% this year in CBSE results 2023 Class 12.

As per official data, there were zero cases of unfair means recorded in CBSE Class 10 Board exams 2022.
Last year, a total of 1,07,689 students were placed in compartment exams in 2022.
As per data, the pass percentage of CBSE Class 10, 12 have increased post-covid-19. The CBSE Class 10 overall percentage of 94.40% last year. This is 3 points higher than the 2020 results. The 2021 Class 10 CBSE results stood at 99.04%.

Students who will qualify the CBSE board exam 2023 will get the pass certificate from their respective schools. The online mark sheet will be provisional in nature. After a few days of online result announcement, students will get an original mark sheet and pass certificate.

Unlike this year, the CBSE Board conducted the exams in two terms last year. The CBSE 10th result for term 1 was announced on March 11, 2022 and Class 12 term 1 results on March 19, 2022.
