CBSE board has not announced the Class 10 toppers list 2023 this year just like last year to avoid "unhealthy competition" amongst students. Individual schools have compiled their own subject-wise and overall toppers.

While the pass percentage in government schools was 93.38 percent last year, it has dropped by 10 percentage points to 83.83% this year in CBSE results 2023 Class 12.

The credentials required to check and download the CBSE Class 12 result are roll numbers, school id and admit card id. The official website to check CBSE Class 12 result is cbseresults.nic.in.

After announcing Class 10, 12 results, the board will give a window during which students can apply for re-verification of results, scrutiny of answer sheets.

As per CBSE in case of theory exams, 30% weightage has been given to term 1 and 70% to term 2 while  practicals follow a 50-50 formula.

In January 2023, CBSE introduced three new skill subjects. Class 9- design thinking and innovation, foundation skills for sciences (pharmaceutical and biotechnology), and electronics and hardware. Meanwhile, Class 11- design thinking and innovation, physical activity trainer, land transportation associate, electronics and hardware.

As per official data, there were zero cases of unfair means recorded in CBSE Class 10 Board exams 2022. 

Last year, a total of 1,07,689 students were placed in compartment exams in 2022.

Students who will qualify the CBSE board exam 2023 will get the pass certificate from their respective schools. The online mark sheet will be provisional in nature. After a few days of online result announcement, students will get an original mark sheet and pass certificate.

Unlike this year, the CBSE Board conducted the exams in two terms last year. The CBSE 10th result for term 1 was announced on March 11, 2022 and Class 12 term 1 results on March 19, 2022. The term 2 CBSE result 2022 for both the classes was declared on July 22, 2022. This year, the board held the exam in single term in offline mode. The CBSE result date 2023 is yet to be announced. 

The CBSE will "shortly" declare the CBSE Class 10 results on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in. This year, a total of 21,86,940 students registered for CBSE 10th board exams. 

The CBSE Board on Wednesday issued the security pin for the Digilocker accounts of Class 10, 12 students who appeared for board exams 2023 to download their documents such as marksheets-cum-certificates and migration certificates.
