Apply NowNEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce CBSE Class 12 results before August 15, 2021. As per the report of Times Now News , the basis of the result computation will be the marks scored by the students in the practical exams conducted in February/March and the internal assessment.
The school authorities will be given a one month time to calculate the marks of students and then submit it to the CBSE board.
“Officials have confirmed that the students would be awarded marks and that the evaluation criteria would be submitted to the Supreme Court by June 17,” the report added.
On June 4, the CBSE released a notice stating that the board had set up a 13 member committee to decide the criteria within 10 days. This committee has considered the students' performance in Class 10 and 11 and different internal parameters.
Students who are not satisfied with their marks would be given an opportunity to appear for the improvement or board exams which will be intimated by the Board later.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had given two weeks time to finalize well-defined objective criteria to mark the CBSE Class 12 students. On June 1, PM Modi decided to cancel the CBSE 12th Board Exam 2021 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
