CBSE Board Exam 2024: Form submission date for private students extended till October 18

NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the Class 10, 12 board exam form 2024 submission date for private students. As per the notice, the CBSE board exam form 2024 can be filled till October 18, 2023, without any late fees.

Students can fill the CBSE Class 10, 12 exam form and pay the application fees through the official website, cbse.gov.in.

Students who fail to apply before the deadline will have to fill the CBSE exam form 2024 by paying late fees from October 19 to October 25, 2023.

According to the official notice issued on September 5, 2023, the list of candidates who can submit the forms includes: failed/essential repeat students of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022; passed out students of 2023 who wish to appear for improving their performance in one or more exams; students who have been placed in compartment in the exam; students who have been placed in compartment in 1st chance compartment exam.

Private students must pay Rs 1,500 as a registration fee to appear for five CBSE 10th and 12th exams. Those from Nepal will be need to pay the same amount, but test-takers from other nations will need to pay Rs 10,000. Applicants from India must pay Rs 300 for each additional subject, while applicants from Nepal and other nations must pay Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively.

For the additional subjects, the compartment exam fee structure is the same. Candidates from India and Nepal must pay Rs 150 per subject of the practical exams, while candidates from other countries must pay Rs 350 per subject.
