CBSE Board Exam 2024: Updates on Class 10, 12 datesheets, practical exams, admit card

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to issue the date sheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam 2024 soon. The detailed subject-wise CBSE 2024 Class 10, 12 datesheet will be issued by the board on its official website at cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE Board is expected to issue the Class 10, 12 admit card 2024 in February 2024. Students appearing for the CBSE 10, 12 board exams can collect their admit card from their respective schools. They should check the details given in the hall ticket.
CBSE 2024 practical exams
CBSE has recently issued an important notice regarding the bifurcation of marks for practical and internal assessment examinations 2024. According to the official notice, the board will commence the practical exams for Class 10 and 12 from January 1 and theory examinations from February 15 onwards.

CBSE 2024: Marking scheme
CBSE has revised its assessment scheme for Class 10 and 12 board exams to be conducted in 2024 by introducing more multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and decreasing the weightage for questions requiring short or long answers. The objective questions will have 20 percent weightage. The weightage for short answer and long answer-type questions has been reduced from 40% to 30%.
CBSE has uploaded the marking scheme on its official website. Students can follow these steps to check the CBSE marking scheme.

On the homepage, scroll down and click on the board examination option.

Click on the link that reads “Marking scheme”.

CBSE marking scheme PDF file will open on the screen.

Save and take a print out for future reference.

CBSE 2024: Practice papers
CBSE has uploaded CBSE Class 10 and 12 additional practice papers 2023-24 at cbseacademic.nic.in . Candidates appearing for the CBSE board exam 2024 should practise solving these papers to score well in the final exams.
